Upon graduation, he joined LA based contemporary repertory company, BODYTRAFFIC, where he traveled to Algeria twice as a cultural ambassador for the arts representing The U.S. in the International Modern Dance Festival. As a company member he toured internationally to Russia, Holland, Poland, Indonesia, and Mexico, and choreographed internationally in the cities of Jakarta and Hong Kong. During his time with BODYTRAFFIC he performed works by renowned choreographers, Hofesh Shechter, Micaela Taylor, Arthur Pita, Victor Quijada, Barak Marshall, Richard Siegal, Sidra Bell and Gustavo Ramirez Sansano. On film, Joe can be seen in the music video Man’s World, written by MARINA and directed by Alexandra Gavillet, as well as Requim for Air and Normalcy by Laurie Sefton.
